The skill and creativity here is incredible. Using garlic to replace frog's breath because it is also a very potent flavour is SO CLEVER ! Everything looks amazing!

this all looks so tasty omg, you're super talented at making all these recipes! i especially loved the big cartoonish drips of icing on the cake, adorable!
How about a Studio Ghibli video [actually that could be multiple videos], or a Steven Universe video [Cookie Cats and Together Breakfast and pizza bagels, yum!]
happy spooktober!! i'd love to know what you're watching (i forgot how good the old disney channel halloween episodes are so that's what i'm watching) 🐈⬛🧡🕸
Oh my goodness I especially love the cake because it’s literal symbolism of this movie. It’s cute and wholesome and sweet on the outside and grizzly and disturbing on the inside, especially because it turned green and yellow . even if it kinda just happened on its own that was genius, and the idea of having those layers represent Coraline herself? Chefs kiss.
oh my gosh, this is the sweetest comment!! i love all of the creative aspects of making these vids, from creating the recipes, plating them, to the editing - so thank you so much for the kind words 🥹
ive said it before & i'll say it again, youre my favorite foodtuber. your videos are always so inspired, & well thought out. loved this halloween special. youre the best
This is an amazing video. I love the idea, i love your interpretations with the frogs breath, how you made potatos and mollasses work, the sweet matcha jelly soup with dangos to not repeat a green soup... All really clever takes and absolutly things I wanna try dor myself now! Another option for green would have been yomogi/mugwort, less or non coffeinated, whatever you mix it with match or not. Its also has a very nice flavor worth trying for those who have not.
Tip for green dishes and dessert flavor beside matcha, that is not coffeinated, yomogi/mugwort. Its slighy bitter, aromatic, grassy, a subtle flavor I really love with a very dark green color that makes hot chocolate look like swamp water 😂
omg hi! i'm sorry i wasn't able to post for a bit due to some health stuff.. but i have so many fun vids planned for the holiday season so i'm so happy to see you in the comments 🥰
I didn't watch Coraline until I was in middle school. It's one of my favorite animated Halloween movies. I wish I had watched it earlier. I also really like Over The Garden Wall. The food looks super delicious.
Happy Halloween!! So happy to discover a new cooking video just in time for tonight’s spooky holiday! Your videos are so soothing and an inspiration! Thank you and please keep them coming🤗🧡🤎😍👻🎃👩🏻🍳🥄🍴👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@ no, thank you for the content you make. i cant imagine the time you put into cooking, preparing the recipes, buying the ingredients and editing too. love love love your stardew series, for the quality of your content you ARE SO criminally underrated!! since discovering your channel, my bf and i had to binge all your videos, they were so comforting during a stressful time so please please keep doing what you do 🤍
I love these videos so much.💚 One method of writing on a cake which can be useful is putting parchment paper or some other non stick see-through surface over your reference, and tracing it with icing that you freeze to keep it's shape, [It works for buttercream, but I'm not sure about cream cheese] or chocolate or candy melts. That way you don't have have to worry about getting it right on the first try! Though you don't necessarily have to trace; freehanding it is cool too. Edit: IDK why I was so specific. I could have just said "The transfer method" or something, hehe.
ahhh thank you for being here!! thanks for commenting that, i love using that trick too and hopefully others can use it! the only issue was i was using a really soft cream based frosting! i was originally planning on doing royal icing (which would've taken 8 hours to set) or candy melts (but i didn't have oil based food coloring) so this turned out to be the easiest way 😭
@@mich_mengo Ohh I see, that makes sense. It's interesting to hear that behind the scenes information. The frosting looks and sounds so nice by the way!
you have better handwriting with ICING than i do pencil and paper ... 😭😅 i'm equal parts jealous and absolutely enchanted by your lovely halloweenie treats 👻🧡🤍🖤
What's this? Wonderfully spooky recipes from some of my favourite films EVER?? And so delicously and thoughtfully made as well? In the words of the Mayor, "I fully endorse it! Let's try it at once!"
wait i just googled it and realized that my mom would always make wormswood (i think it might be mugwort) soup and we always have it in our hotpot!! thank you for commenting and unlocking that memory 🥹
My family consists of a few generations worth of horror movie/tv fantastics, my mom, aunts and uncles grew up in the 80s and are especially big slasher movie fans; and even they wouldnt go near Coraline with a 39 and a half foot pole after the first time! My godfather ranks Coraline as one of creepiest films he's seen along with the Exorcist and Evil Dead 2. And yet me and my siblings and cousins watch it again and again completely unphased for the most part lmao
I've seen coraline for the first time this year I didn't see it in 2009 but the belldam reminds me of a jorogumo and a seamstress and a possess ragdoll mashed into one character
And the monster from over the garden wall reminds me of ent that got corrupted with darkness I heard someone said that it's a eldritch horror but to me it just looks like a ent that got corrupted by darkness I'm a monster fanatic
this looks so yummy!!!! such a calming video to watch ^^ also what size cake pans did you use for the coraline cake? it looks so good that i might try it :)
thank you so much!! i used 6 inch pans here, but i think 9 inches would work too if you wanted a wider cake (since i ended up only doing 2 layers, so there's extra batter). if you do end up trying it, i'd love to hear how it turns out 🥰
EEEK, i love the Tim burton movie style but surprisingly i haven't watched any of them yet!!, which one would you say out of the three (the nightmare before Christmas, coraline and corpse bride) would you say is the best??!! Also even those these foods are meant to be gross they look so yummy!!
I think the coralline cake would be better if the batter was yellow and the frosting was blue. I think it would be better this way since coralline’s color scheme is mostly yellow. Maybe the yellow would be lemon and the pink would be strawberry. I do still VERY much like yours!🥰
So creative, everything looks so yummy. Also sidenote, I saw you used it for your icing, but I loved the Trader Joe’s vanilla paste to bake and add to coffee but sadly it’s discontinued, only the bourbon one is still seasonally sold (it’s still good but still) 🙂↕️🥲
The skill and creativity here is incredible. Using garlic to replace frog's breath because it is also a very potent flavour is SO CLEVER ! Everything looks amazing!

Over the garden wall is ABSOLUTELY a halloween watch for me. These recipes look AMAZING one day I'm going to actually make one of your recipies
tysm!! i just finished rewatching it and i always forget how creepy it actually is 😭
They are also in their halloween costumes for the whole thing, eben if not obvious, since its all more or less on halloween I habe no clue how it should be more halloween themed
girl it literally was set on halloween night
That nightmare before Christmas soup looks suspiciously similar to a veggie soup my mom used to make all the time when i was a kid 👁👁
your mom must have good taste then 👀
this all looks so tasty omg, you're super talented at making all these recipes! i especially loved the big cartoonish drips of icing on the cake, adorable!
thank you!! i think out of all the dishes, the cake was my favorite and it was so much fun to decorate 🥰
the way i gasped when i saw this ive been waiting for another drop from miss michelle meng 💅
omg hi!! hope you enjoyed the video and many more coming very soon ☺️
Your creativity is amazing! The making the Corpse Bride soup as a dessert soup was a stroke of genius.
How about a Studio Ghibli video [actually that could be multiple videos], or a Steven Universe video [Cookie Cats and Together Breakfast and pizza bagels, yum!]
Ghibli is always a safe bet!
happy spooktober!! i'd love to know what you're watching (i forgot how good the old disney channel halloween episodes are so that's what i'm watching) 🐈⬛🧡🕸
We watchin' Monster House.
The Scooby Doo movies! And all the other classics too:)
@@LilBanbozie wait... i forgot how good that one is, def watching it tonight!
All of these look so amazing!! I usually make crinkle cookies as a Christmas tradition, but I'll take any excuse to make them a little earlier!
yes!! crinkle cookies during the holiday season just hit different haha
Wow! Great editing and I love your take on each recipe. The mochi eyeballs were genius

That cake looks really great, respect , I never bother with the whole layering and feosting thing but ai know it takes time and effort to pull of!

amazing job, if you wanted a more vibrant blue color its best to use gel food colorings.
thank you so much!! ahh i did use an ENTIRE tube of gel food coloring but i should have used more 😭
The black cookies look like old man of the woods mushroom
I'm really intrigued by the molasses gravy you made.
it was actually SOOO good! it adds a little bit more depth and sweetness to an otherwise super salty sauce, it's def my go-to gravy recipe now!!
